This product includes silane resin technology, which has been available for over 25 years in Europe and has become the fastest growing type of exterior coating on the market.

Breathability
When a wall is painted with ProPERLA®, it allows for water vapor to pass through, preventing any moisture from accumulating in the wall.
This can reduce the thermal resistance of the facade by up to 50%, as only 5% humidity retention is necessary.

Preparation and Cleaning
Preparation is key to creating a flawless, long lasting finish wat. All surfaces are thoroughly cleaned by either power washing or, if required, wire brush. Years of grime, mould and algae and any other contaminants are removed.

Pre-application Protection
All doors, windows paths and surrounding areas, that are not to be coated, should be protected before application begins.

Stabilising Wall Repairs
Once any old, loose material has been removed from the wall and any remedial building work can be carried out, advanced Render should be applied to reinforce and waterproof the repairs.

Priming
Pre-Prep Primer is next applied to penetrate deep into the substrate and ensure a high quality bond. This procedure will also ensure that when the wall coating is applied a uniformed finish is guaranteed.

Coating or Paint Application
The final stage is to apply the spray coating system or paint using heavy duty spray equipment. This delivers the material in an even coat which is up to 20 times thicker than standard paint. Our coating technology covers the surface evenly to create a stunning finished look.

No, proPERLA® Facade Coating is only designed for mineral-based surfaces. For example, it cannot be used on wood or metal.
To guarantee the correct protection of the façade and the appearance of the product, two layers of paint must be applied.
proPERLA® has been designed to be highly breathable and ensure that it does not interfere with the facade’s natural ability to “breathe”.
proPERLA® cannot be applied in temperatures below 5°C.
In the event of no rain for a long period of time, you can apply water with a low-pressure hose. IMPORTANT!: Do not use pressurized water cleaning or rub the surface.
It depends on the paint that has already been applied. In some cases, the proPERLA® paint can be applied over without any problems, but in other cases, it may be necessary to apply a primer or remove the previous paint completely before it can be applied.
It’s not necessary to apply a primer. The primer is only recommended on very porous surfaces to ensure optimal adhesion of the product, or when the surface has been previously painted.
